Very nice neighborhood Thai place. The food was tasty and ready quickly. The Penang curry was nice. The veggies were cut to a reasonable bite size. The Golden fritters were a bit bland.
As a neighborhood spot, this place does not disappoint. Many people choose the take- out menu, but I like their lunch options and dined inside.
The waitress was sneezing and not covering her mouth, eating and handling our food. I feel so sick after eating there. The food was disgusting and drenched in sauce that they heated up in a microwave. Absolutely the worst Thai place I have ever ever ever been to.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! We were the only 2 customers at 2:30pm !!!! I have patronized this place a few times over the years. The food is good, BUT, the service is horrible. The two waitresses and their attitudes are beyond the retraining threshold. They are not good for business. I asked for lemon for my water, the lemon that was given to me was slimy to the touch a clear indication that it was not properly held when cut. I overlooked that .. then when my order came out it was the wrong order.. I ordered Snapper and was brought salmon. When I politely told the waitress “A” I was brought an incorrect order .. she then spoke in her native language to the waitress that took my order .. ( I’m presuming she told her she got the order wrong ) waitress “B” began to speak angrily in her native language. (Let’s just say, I didn’t need to clearly understand the words however, their tone and body language spoke volumes to me) .. I politely cancelled the redo and asked the waitress A for the check to pay for my appetizers only to be billed gratuity on a party of 2 who did not receive good service .. gratuity should be considered for good service .. with this practice, there is no incentive for the workers to give good service when there is no incentive. I will not be spending my money here anymore.
I Had a great time at this place. I was almost about to go to that other Thai place on the same block but my Yelp app steered me here! Yelp always comes through. This place was empty, save for an idling server sitting and a guy charging his phone at a table. But I wasn't deterred. It was Sunday before Labor Day. The beach not the concrete jungle of NY had the attention of the masses and understandably so. The weather was perfect. But I was hungry after my haircut and I wanted to eat nearby so I could have a long walk back to subway and get my exercise. I had two mixed drinks (Jungle juice and One Night in Bangkok)here and both of them were expertly crafted. The fried calamari appetizer was nothing special but it was good. The main course. Pineapple fried rice with shrimp was amazing. Rice cooked perfectly as were the shrimp. The portion was enough for leftovers. My server Marissa was very attentive. My water stayed full and my table was cleared frequently. She asked if everything was fine during every visit to my table. I cannot say enough about how delicious the fried rice was. A perfect 100 for Thai 101.
I've only come here a few times now. The order I've mostly eaten has been the shrimp and chicken Pad Thai. Not for nothing but it's really good at this restaurant. My wife has been to this location many times before and led me to give them a try. So if you're close by, give them a try and you may enjoy it just like I have. So if you made it this far. I really recommend giving the Shrimp Pad Thai a try if you're a fan of this dish.
I have been to countless Thai restaurants and this was not by far the worst! The food was tasteless, dry and overcooked. I can only recommend the appetizer wings.
My first time going to this restaurant the food was fresh hearty and good the drinks are excellent nice and strong I would recommend this restaurant
